Physical Education

The Physical Education and Health Department promotes the importance of lifelong health and wellness to students following the Massachusetts Comprehensive Health Curriculum Framework.

Students attend two PE lessons a week and participate in a variety of sports and activities including, swimming, football, basketball, and others. The PE department uses standards-based instruction focusing on:

Physical Health

Movement, growth and development, fitness, and nutrition.

Social & Emotional Health

Mental wellbeing, mindfulness, family lifestyles, and interpersonal relationships.

Safety & Prevention

Wellness, healthy lifestyles, safety, and injury prevention.
